Ms. Judy Hunt, 59, of 130 Riverview Drive, Calhoun, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010, at her residence.

She was born in Lumberton, N.C., on Feb. 1, 1951, daughter of the late David L. and Quessie Locklear Hunt. Ms. Hunt was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, William Lee Hunt, and Ronald Lee Hunt; two sisters, Carolyn Ragsdale, and Sarah Hunt; and a brother, Daniel Hunt.

Survivors include a daughter, Doris Hunt of Calhoun; three sons, Leroy Hunt, Tyrone (Sheena) Hunt, and Russell Hunt, all of Lumberton, N.C.; two brothers, David Hunt Jr. and David Earl Hunt, both of Lumberton, N.C.; two sisters, Mattie "Bay" Towe of Cedar Bluff, Ala., and Lula Mae Burns of Pembroke, N.C.; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Larry Towe officiating. Interment will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville.

Pallbearers will include Tyrone Hunt, Dwayne Ragsdale, David Ragsdale, Scotty Towe, Petey Hunt, Brad Hunt.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Barton Funeral Home.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Ms. Judy Hunt.
