Dear Dan Aldrich,
Your angst is shared by all members of Cartersville's Morning Optimist Club. At one point in planning the event, there was even a suggestion to eliminate the costly fireworks altogether. The optimism in our club prevailed and the abbreviated show you saw was provided. We need your membership and great fundraising ideas every Tueday morning 7AM at IHOP on Main Street. That's where our small club plans The Stars Stripes and Cartersville, our major fundraiser for the support we give the kids of Bartow County. Bring your family and friends. Bring your enemies and strangers. The children's organizations we support can use all the help they can get. I would sincerely love to see you in our midst. Please join us for breakfast any Tuesday.
