Dear Editor,

Many who remember history will recall the story of the Trojan horse. The Greeks had tried for years, without success, to gain entrance to the walled city of Troy. Finally they came up with the idea of building a large wooden horse and hiding a select force of warriors inside. Then, they fooled the Trojans into wheeling the horse into their city as a trophy. That night, after most of Troy was asleep; the Greek warriors climbed out of the wooden horse, slaughtered the Trojans and conquered the city.

Today, our enemies don't need to build a wooden horse in order to invade our country. They can just walk across our unguarded borders along with millions of other illegal immigrants. An example is the 10 Russian secrete agents who were recently arrested. It is now known that this group had been working undercover for over a decade in nearly half a dozen U.S. cities. There is no telling how many other undetected spies are at work in our country.

The President and his administration refuse to take the problem seriously. They are not taking the necessary steps to secure our borders, and are not applying the law to the law-breakers. They seem to welcome the illegal immigrants and simply view them as that many more potential Democratic voters.

I wonder if we will wakeup some day, like the Trojans did, and find that we have lost everything and are the subjects of some cruel dictator.

Remember this come November. It may well be our last chance to save our country.
