Daniel Richard (Dan) Green, 56, of Foxdale Way, Dallas, Ga., died Sunday, July 11, 2010.

Mr. Green was born Dec. 6, 1953, in Butler, Pa., the son of Christina (Biskup) Green and the late Richard Green. He was employed by the Southern Company as a manager of fuel services, was associated with many organizations and loved to read, golf and fish.

Surviving is his devoted wife of 34 years, Peggy (Kostoff) Green; three children, Adrienne (Kevin) Cox, Nathaniel (Bianca) Green and Nicholas Green; three grandchildren, Kameron and Abigail Cox, Ian Green and a new grandbaby on the way; his mother, Christina Green; sisters, Pamela (James) Hoff, Patty Green; brothers, Edward (Judy) Green and John Green; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 14, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church of Assisi with Father Dan Stack officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 4 to 8 p.m.
