According to the report, damage included cut braided copper cables inside a large electrical box and large fuses and other small items scattered on the floor. The value of the items taken or damage was not listed on the report.
The chain loop to a gate that services a rear parking area appeared to have been cut with a powered grinding tool, but no shaving were observed on the ground.
A personnel door on the north end of the building was open when officer arrived, but secured when officer left the scene. Police could not contact a representative of the business at the late hour.
Adairsville man arrested, charged in connection with meth
As the result of a traffic stop, Adairsville police Monday arrested a local man who was pulled over for a traffic violation.
According to the press release, Rick Welton Holcomb, 49, of 5922 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Adairsville, was allegedly in possession of cash, digital scales and methamphetamine valued at $600.
He was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and housed in the Bartow County jail.
