She was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church and a former member of the Eastern Star. Barbara was a former employee of the Cartersville Georgia Police Department and later worked as a security inspector with Lockheed Martin Energy Systems at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reese and Lucille Crumbley, and her sister, Syble Millsap.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronald Grizzle; sons, Ronald Gregory Grizzle of Lenoir City, and Randall Wallace Grizzle and wife, Brenda of Hamilton, Ohio; grandsons, James and Randy Grizzle; great-grandson, Elijah Ray Grizzle, all of Ohio; sister, Pat Crumbley Massey and husband, Buddy; brother, Wayne Crumbley and wife, Barbara all of Cartersville; mother-in-law, Sibyl E. Grizzle of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Rev David Latham and Rev. Taylor Adams will officiate. The body will be taken to Friendship Baptist Church in Cartersville for a visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m in the church.
Graveside services and interment will be in the Pine Log Cemetery in Pine Log, Ga. Serving as pallbearers will be: James and Randy Grizzle, Caleb and Kenneth Temples, Mike Patterson and Jim Umphrey.
