Rusty was preceded in death by his father, George Shepherd; his brother, Jeff; and sister, Debra.
He is survived by his mother and stepdad, Jean and Jim Walls of Dalton; his brother, Doug Shepherd of Atlanta; two stepbrothers, Joey Shepherd of Marietta, Jimmy Walls III of Virginia; one stepsister, Jessica Walls of Virginia; and a number of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
