Mrs. Cochran was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Bartow County, daughter of the late Emory Simpson and Ethel Fowler Simpson. She was a Homemaker and a member of Church of the Covenant. Mrs. Cochran was a loving Mother and Grandmother and she loved her Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Marvin Kay and Oscar Floyd Cochran.
Survivors include her children, Jerry and Sandra Kay, Patricia and Mack Matthews, Diane and Wayne Moon, Cheryl and Jack Leming and Debbie and Jim Craig; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Barbara and Ronald Haney and Myrtle Meeks; close friends, Donna and Matt Morris; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Cline and Rev. Rex Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 3 to 9 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Bobby Moon, Jason Leming, Hunter Myrick, Josh Craig, Jimmy Kay, Jason Kuykendall and Tip Holt.
