Mrs. Shrouder, a native of Cartersville, Ga., was a Graduate of Cass High School, a Graduate of the University of Georgia, as Educator in Cobb County, a Principal of Irwin County. She was also an administrator for the Irwin County Board of Education until her retirement in 2008 and was member of the Stone's Chapel Church, of Broxton, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Leachman and her mother, Elizabeth Davis Leachman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Leachman and a sister, Ann L. Lunsford.
Surviving are her Husband of 43 years, Tommy Jack Shrouder of Broxton, Ga.; daughter, Dr. Jinnie (Delane) Cleveland of Wray, Ga.; son, Michael (Amy) Shrouder of Douglas, Ga.; sister, Elaine (Tom) Lazaruis of Adairsville, Ga.; brothers, William (Louise) Leachman of Dallas, Ga., Don (Beverly) Leachman of Cohutta, Ga., J. T. (Beverly) Leachman of Big Canoe, Ga., and Blane Leachman of Roanoke, Va.; grandchildren, Jolie Cleveland, and Jordan Cleveland, both of Wray, Ga., and Hagan Shrouder of Douglas, Ga.; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 29, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at the Stone's Chapel Church, with Rev. Tim Mock and Rev. Herschell Smith officiating. The Interment will follow in the Reedy Branch Cemetery, near Broxton.
