Born Sept. 11, 1960, he was the son of the late Arthur Marvin Lackey and the late Bertha Mae McClanahan Lackey. Charlie was a member of Creekside Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his sons, Trenton Lackey of Washington, and Danny Lackey of Acworth; his brothers and sisters, Margaret Richardson of Cartersville, Donald Lackey of Euharlee, Arlene Lackey of Alabama, and Connie Gaddis of Smyrna; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Glover Tatum.
A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
