A man who admitted to pointing a gun at a 40-year-old family member told Bartow County Sheriff's Office deputies he uses the firearm as intimidation.
According to the report, following the Wednesday incident at 450 Law Road in Cartersville, deputies arrested Charles Lee Price, 65, of 446 Law Road. They had received a report of a domestic dispute involving a gun.
Price allegedly admitted to pointing the small .38 Special at the victim, and told deputies the gun was not loaded.
"I don't keep bullets in the gun so I don't kill someone," deputies reported Price said. "I use it as intimidation against them."
Price was apparently trying to remove the man from the home, and told deputies people on the property take advantage of him.
Price was charged with aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act.
