“We purchased cocaine out of that business on several different occasions,” said Lt. Leslie Cheek, DTF assistant commander. “Saturday night and the wee hours of Sunday morning, we executed a search warrant. Two people were arrested with cocaine charges. One was intent to distribute and he had 12 bags of powdered cocaine, estimated value of about $1,000. And another gentlemen was arrested with two bags of cocaine.”
Cheek said investigators have not determined how the men are associated with the restaurant, but the two arrested and charged are not the owners.
“More arrests are going to come,” Cheek said, adding two other people were arrested on disorderly conduct charges and an additional two on forged document counts.
