The Redskins overpowered the Jets, 30-6, in 8-and-under football with the Bartow County Recreation Department on Tuesday.

Amarion Stanzel and James Turner paved the way for the Redskins by scoring two touchdowns each. Triston Mize tossed a touchdown pass for the winners.

Gaven Crunkelton scored a touchdown to power the Jets in their losing effort.

In 12-and-under football, the Colonels Blue left the Colonels White in their wake, 44-6.

Trevor Lowe scored two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns while Chaz Tutherow also scored two TD, Chase Danner, one TD, and Bradley Kirk, one TD.

Grant Robinson scored White's touchdown.

Soccer scores

In under-8 girls soccer, the Crimson Tide defeated the Greenwave, 1-0. The Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs tied, 2-all.

In under-8 boys soccer, the Wildcats blanked the Greenwave, 12-0, and the Eagles blanked the Wolfpack, 4-0.
